Booking & scheduling
Do you have a minimum number of hours?
Yes. All Foldwell appointments have a 4-hour minimum.
How are additional hours charged?
Additional time is charged at the standard hourly rate for each service and for each Foldwell specialist scheduled. If we think your appointment may need additional time, we will confirm with you beforehand.
How does payment work?
We do not accept cash. Payment is accepted by credit card, debit card, or ACH. Weekly recurring clients are required to keep a card on file. You will always receive a receipt by email for your records.
What neighborhoods do you service?
At this time, recurring service is available inside the perimeter in Atlanta, Georgia. One time or occasional services are available outside of the perimeter but may require a travel fee. If you are interested in having Foldwell service your neighborhood, send us a message and let us know.
Will I have the same person every time?
Yes. With the exception of travel, illness, or scheduling needs, you will have the same Foldwell specialist for your recurring appointments. In the case that your specialist is unavailable we will offer a substitute so there is no lapse in support.
Can I meet with someone before I sign up?
Yes. We offer complimentary in-home consultations so we can talk through your laundry, clothing, and closet needs before we begin.
What if I need to reschedule?
We do not charge a rescheduling fee. Please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust the schedule.
Do you offer weekend appointments?
We do not offer recurring weekend appointments. Some project-based services, such as Closet Clean-Out & Organize or Move-In Closet Setup, may be available on weekends based on availability. This can be discussed during your consultation.
Your appointment
Do I need to be home during my appointment?
You are welcome to be home, come and go as normal, or provide access instructions. For the first one or two appointments, we do recommend being home if possible. This gives your Foldwell specialist time to ask questions, learn your preferences, and get acquainted with your home.
Do you work around pets?
Yes. Our specialists are pet friendly and do not mind the company of the family dog or cat. There is no need to put pets away unless they are not comfortable with people outside your household.
What happens if someone in my home is sick?
If someone in your home has a contagious illness, please message us to reschedule. This policy ensures we keep everyone safe and healthy including you and your family.
Laundry & garment care
Do you bring laundry products?
Clients are responsible for providing laundry products for our team to use. If you are running low, we will let you know. You can also ask your Foldwell specialist or visit our Learn page for product recommendations.
Can you follow my product preferences?
Always. We will only use products you have authorized.
What should I do before my first appointment?
Nothing is required. If you would like to get the most out of your appointment, you can start a load in the washer and dryer before we arrive. Treating stains as soon as they happen can also help, but we will take it from there when we arrive.
Can you help with dry cleaning?
Yes. We offer dry cleaning pickup and drop-off at the dry cleaner of your choosing.
What if my washer or dryer has an issue during service?
We will let you know immediately.
Closet organization & expenses
How are expenses billed?
Dry cleaning can be charged to your card on file with Foldwell or to your account with your dry cleaner. A photo of the receipt will be included on your invoice. For organizational supplies, we will discuss everything with you before anything is ordered. We can either bill you for approved items or send you links to order directly depending on what is needed.
Can you help choose bins, drawer dividers, or hangers?
Yes. Your Foldwell specialist can suggest and install bins, drawer dividers, hangers, or other supplies that would help your closet or drawer system work better.
